Alexandria Collins is an award-winning director, screenwriter, actress and producer based in Los Angeles, CA.

Her latest endeavor, "Cicadas," (2023) a modern family drama challenging preconceived notions about blackness and its portrayal on screen, is completed and being submitted to festivals.. Through this film, Alexandria aims to push the boundaries of representation and highlight the complexity and diversity within the black experience.

Her period drama short, "Woman to Woman," received critical acclaim, winning the prestigious Best International Short award at the BIFA-Qualifying Manchester Film Festival and Best Short Film at the Tokyo International Film Festival in 2022. Additionally, she was honored as Best Director at the Katra Film Series and Best Female Director at the Venice Shorts Fest for the same film.

In 2020, Alexandria's talent caught the attention of Hulu and 20th Digital, and she was selected for the inaugural class of their horror series, "Huluween," for her short film "Reborn." The film screened at renowned festivals such as Canneseries, ScreamFest, and Hellifax, further solidifying Alexandria's reputation as a rising talent in the industry. Currently, she is attached as the writer and director for the feature adaptation of “Reborn."

Alexandria's artistic journey began as a trained actress, honing her craft in features, TV, commercials, and theater. Her captivating performances can be seen in the Cannes-selected short film "The Collegians" and the New York International Fringe Festival play "Scratching." She has appeared in numerous commercials for major brands such as Apple, Hilton, Crest, and Marshall's. Her acting talents have graced the small screen in ABC's "Time After Time" and Amazon's "Bosch." Additionally, Alexandria created and starred in the comedic digital series "Goals N' Shit," which has gained a dedicated cult following.

As the youngest daughter of politically minded African-American parents who lived through the civil rights era, Alexandria draws strength from their legacy, using it as an unwavering source of inspiration to pursue her creative ideals. Her diverse body of work spans various genres and formats, as she continuously strives to challenge and exceed the expectations placed upon her.
